MOSPORT WORKERS BANQUET 2010

This years banquet will again be held at the HOLIDAY INN OSHAWA, 1011 Bloor St. East Oshawa. on Saturday November 6, 2010.

Tickets are $35.00 each and will be available for purchase starting on Saturday July 10 2010 from Anita Dawe (MMS) I will post the remaining people that will be also have banquet tickets for the other groups at track as they are available.

Thanks to all who were involved in the 2010 new marshals schools, MMS members and students.

As a new season is fast around the corners the Education committee has been busy for weeks preparing for the upcoming season. This year, the schools will be held on the following race weekends: BEMC May 8/9; VARAC June 19/20 and BARC Aug 7/8.

I am ecstatic with the number of people who have stepped forward during the off season to express interest in instructing the new marshal schools. Each of these people brings a wealth of experience to the role. We are going to have a great team of instructors for many years to come.

Many thanks to Pat and Peter Bayman for all their efforts organizing the booth for shows over the off season. Thank you to all of the MMS members who volunteered their time at the shows!

While our recruiting efforts such as bike shows and the Motorsports Expo are extremely effective in recruiting new marshals, word of mouth and current marshal referrals are also quite effective in gaining new members to our team. Welcome to MMS

Motorsport Marshalling Services, a member club of Canadian Automobile Sport Clubs - Ontario Region (CASC), has been training and organizing marshalling services for amateur and professional motorsport events since 1978. Most of our contracted events take place on the main road course at Mosport International Raceway, a 4 kilometer road-racing course located about one hour's drive north-east of Toronto Ontario. We also organize marshals for each summer's Toronto Grand Prix street race in Toronto.
