Here is an example of why CTMP does not want drones at the track, have a look at the 10 second mark in the video. Just imagine corner 2 (or anywhere else on the track) with open wheel cars and this happens.

This is from Howard Cohen of BARC.
Many of you have heard the talk about flying drones at races, well here is a link to the federal laws. FYI...at CTMP, it is illegal to fly a drone as federal law says you cannot fly a drone within 9Km of a heliport...and there is a heliport at CTMP. This link has some very interesting reading and CASC should also read it.

I think it makes for good reading for all of us.

My original post was:
My question is how would a spectator know that they are not allowed. There's nothing on the website under policies and rules. I've never seen any signage at the main gates and I don't believe there's anything on the tickets.
There is still nothing that I can find on the CTMP website where they list all the policies and rules.

Below is a link to CTMP policies. There is no mention of drones in the policy.

Myles should have 2 signs made to be installed at the ticket gates. Did see the drone footage at the ski hill. It could very well happen in front of a driver. We certainly do not need an accident caused by a foolish drone operator.
