I am hoping that all of our members are doing OK in the aftermath of that storm.
We are very lucky that no one was seriously injured.
I hope there will be an investigation as to why cars were even sent out and why there was no pre-planning or warning for marshals when the spectators were given warning of an approaching storm over the loud speakers.
Hoping we can learn from this and apply it to future events to keep our very loyal and valuable volunteers safe.

Keep the rubber side down

Env. Canada didn't give much warning as the storm moved faster then they thought. I've never seen or been caught out in a storm that severe ever. Fortunately somebody called Callibogie after it hit us, so they got a better waning then we did.
